Cast: Ajay Devgun, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Amrita Arora
The cast of Golmaal return for a sequel minus one Sharman Joshi. But this sequel has no link with previous film as the main characters are not friends as they were in their last outing. Ajay is a married man with a roving eye for the ladies, his wife Kareena Kapoor is always suspecting him of having affairs. One night on the way home our hero saves a damsel in distress (Celina) and the two spend a night together on a boat as both their cars are damaged during the brawl with a gang of goons (why they didn't catch a cab I don't know!). In the morning he returns to find his wife suspecting of him having an affair again. Enter Shreyas as the Mr Fix It who trys to help Ajay pull the wool over his wifes eyes.
The Good:
To be honest apart from Shreyas's performance there wasn't much to write home about.
The Bad:
A few good one liners aside this comedy wasn't very funny. The script was wafer thin and far too many characters crowded out a very basic storyline. The most annoying aspect of the film was Tusshar. His act as the guy who can't speak was vaguely amusing in the first installment but midway through this film I just wanted to smash his face in.
Verdict:
I have to say this film is somewhat overrated. Very few moments made me laugh out and the general storyline was a little bit weak.
